Hello there! Want to get to know me as a person? Well, I grew up in a commune in the Berlin area and have since then lived in the US, France, Singapore and the Netherlands. I enjoy swimming, singing, skiing, wakeboarding, nerdy web stuff, clubbing to good music and couchsurfing. Most of all, I enjoy meeting new, different, smart people. I give great hugs.

I did Development Studies, Economics and International Relations at the University College Maastricht. I have authored unpublished papers on a broad range of topics such as corruption, information cascades, well-being, emigration and I have published a paper on the topic of HIV epidemiology.
